HiFive recently completed construction on this hotel design and building project, which includes 111 guest rooms, four stories, an indoor pool and spa, meeting space, and a business center. HiFive provided complete design-build services for the project.
This hotel is the first “Eco-Friendly” hotel in the region. Energy efficiency and green building design are major components of the project. Insulated Concrete Forms (ICF) were used for the building envelope, conserving energy. A solar hot water system, a heating and cooling system using an energy recovery wheel, and an energy management system are examples of green building innovation incorporated in the design. Through HiFive’s “Green Advantage,” the property is designed to decrease overall energy costs by more than 10%.
“With the cost of energy so high, HiFive helped us achieve our goal of environmental consciousness, long-term energy savings, and a great guest experience.”
