04 Feb New Church Projects Under Construction
For many reasons, HiFive is always excited to see strong churches growing and able to provide additional services to their local communities. Such is the case with Miamisburg Christian Church and Montgomery Community Church, as both are expanding their ministries to reach the unchurched.
Montgomery Community Church Student Center
On June 30th, 2012, HiFive Development Services joined Montgomery Community Church (MCC) for the Ground Breaking and Dedication Celebration of their new Student Building. Anthony Munoz spoke about how this facility will be dedicated to reaching students for Christ.
HiFive’s partnership with MCC began as they were seeking direction on whether to develop their Student Center on campus or begin looking for property off-campus to develop the facility. HiFive committed resources to first analyze their existing property to determine the potential build-able space available on their 16.5 acres. Following our initial findings and a completed facilities utilization project, HiFive recommended to the leadership that they construct their Student Center on their existing property and assured them that they possessed adequate availability for future ministry expansion needs.
In the fall of 2011, HiFive renovated and remodeled MCC’s Welcome Center. The 10,000 sq ft project created warm and welcoming space for Sunday and Wednesday evening services, great casual space for bible studies and impromptu meetings, as well as a stunning first impression for visitors.
As construction began on the Welcome Center, HiFive continued the design and development process on the 20,000 sq ft Student Center. When completed, the facility will contain a regulation sized Sr High basketball court, dedicated worship spaces, cafes, recreational space, an amazing entrance sequence, and an extraordinary presence to Montgomery Road. Additionally, the building has been engineered for the opportunity of expansion as the need arises for additional ministry space.
Scheduled for completion in the Spring of 2013, HiFive is honored to be a part of the great ministries which will take place in this amazing facility.

Miamisburg Christian Church
A riddle for you…what takes 6 years to conceive, has over 20 different design iterations, and when completed will encompass 53,000 sq ft of construction/renovation/remodeling?
Answer is…the ministry expansion project for Miamisburg Christian Church (MCC).
The year HiFive began working with MCC:

HiFive Development Services handled all design and development services, project engineering, construction documents, zoning and permitting, construction management and supervision. Additionally, HiFive consulted with MCC’s Capital Campaign and worked with the church in securing the appropriate funding for their project.
Rich McKinley, the Executive Pastor at Miamisburg Christian Church “I have been in ministry for nearly 30 years and have done seven construction projects. My experience with HiFive has been unique in that we have enjoyed the whole process. The level of expertise and willingness to work with our church has been impressive.”
HiFive shares the excitement of our friends at MCC as we look towards the completion of their project. The addition of a new 3,000 sq ft lobby area, converting their existing gymnasium space into a 700 seat worship center complete with balcony seating, renovated student and children’s areas. And, for the first time ever, the entire building will be fully handicapped-accessible.
McKinley concludes, “HiFive has produced a facility that exceeds our goals and lives within our budget. You have listened to our dreams and created a facility that is sharp and efficient. From concept to capital campaign to construction, we have had a partner in ministry. We couldn’t be more pleased!”
