Sam Cain
Senior Architect
Sam is a longtime resident of Southwest Ohio, and has worked to establish himself as a creator, designer and a builder. He earned a license to practice architecture in the State of Ohio in October 2005 after graduating from the University of Cincinnati’s College of Design, Art, Architecture and Planning in 2000.
Sam joined HiFive in 2007 and has been designing and constructing a variety of commercial projects ever since. Building types include hotels, churches, office buildings, manufacturing facilities, student housing, multi-family residential and many other smaller projects. Sam enjoys the challenge of providing a design solution to every building problem, whether that be new construction out of the ground or renovation of an existing building.
Sam is the son of a pastor, and has a heart for designing and building churches, as well as a love for architecture in general. He enjoys taking an idea and seeing it become reality in the built environment. Sam brings to his work creativity and attention to detail as well as a willingness to work hard and persevere through challenging design problems.
Sam’s hobbies and interests outside of the office include weightlifting, running, sports of all kinds, traveling, beaches, snow skiing, fishing, music and playing the guitar. He is an active member at his local church and lives in Lebanon with his wife Amy and son Jordan.
