HiFive Provides Generous Donation to AIA

HIFIVE DEVELOPMENT SERVICES PRESENTS
$25,000 DONATION TO ATHLETES IN ACTION

Through charity work and donations, HiFive works to build stronger communities.

Through their donation, HiFive Development Services, a Mason, Ohio, based design-build firm, is proud to support Athletes In Action (AIA).

For HiFive, giving back to the community is one of the founding principles of the company. “I’m excited to work with Athletes In Action,” says Mark Davis, CEO of HiFive. “They are helping people live better lives – making a true impact.” HiFive’s corporate goal is to give half their net revenue back to the community each year. Through the recent recession, at a time when most companies were cutting back or eliminating their charitable efforts, HiFive actually increased their charitable contributions and surpassed their yearly goal.

“HiFive has been unbelievably helpful,” says Mark Householder, President of Athletes In Action. “Unbelievably generous.”

Since 1966, AIA, a ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ International, has worked around the world to spread their mission of compassion, kindness, and sports ministry. Currently, they have 650 staff members and 7,500 volunteers in 94 countries. Programs supported by AIA include college campus sports ministry, and The Ultimate Training Camp, where attendees learn to apply biblical principles to advanced athletic training. Other programs sponsored by AIA include Urban Project, teaming urban ministry veterans with student athletes and staff to serve at-risk communities, and the South Asia project where student athletes and coaches teach sports at four athletic camps in India.

The Night of Champions, another AIA event presented by HiFive this year, honors one male and one female chosen from the world of sports for their faith, leadership, character and integrity on and off the field of competition. This year, the event honoring Kim Anthony and Frank Reich will take place at 7:00pm at the AIA World Headquarters and Resource Center in Xenia, OH. Past recipients include Anthony Munoz, Kay Yow, John Wooden, Madeline Manning Mims, Bart Starr, Leah O’Brien-Damico, Ruth Riley, and John Peterson. Night of Champions attracts a select audience of community, civic, sport, celebrity, and business leaders from around the country.
