The Healing Center
The Vineyard Church has long been a leader in outreach to the community. When a neighboring abandoned warehouse became available for sale, Vineyard Community Church immediately purchased the 100,000sf building and renovated one end for youth worship ("Student Union") and the opposite end for a 30,000sf Healing Center.
Now, more than 8,000 people from the community are served each month. The facility provides food, clothing, worship, computer and job training, and other "life-change" opportunities in a safe, non-threatening environment.
The cost-effective nature of renovating an existing structure helped Vineyard Community Church allocate resources to fund a water well in Nigeria.
