Larry is an honest, talented, self motivated, results-oriented individual with more than 25 years experience in accounting. His integrity and willingness to put in hard work for project success has become an inspiration for HiFive. Larry graduated Eastern Kentucky University with a BBA Degree, Major in Accounting, and has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1983.
As Controller-Treasurer for other large local firms for 15 years, Larry provided detail tax planning and review of operations; implementation of employee policy and procedures; organized compensation reviews and employee evaluations; direct supervision of administrative and accounting staff.
Part of his responsibilities included preparation of internal financial statements of the company and various other related entities; coordinated external financial statement review; and facilitated banking and insurance compliance and communications.
His current responsibilities include the preparation of federal, state, and local returns for the company and other related individuals, partnerships and corporations; assisting clients in complex tax issues regarding tax free exchanges and cost segregation studies; and extensive income tax and estate planning for corporate owners.
Other value-added services Larry provides include the evaluation of job cost system with the integration of payroll, accounts payable, and internal equipment charges; implementation of accounting software conversions; review of profitability assessments based upon updates; cash flow and scheduling forecasts; analyzing budgets; and reviewing billings.
